Dishwasher fronts

We did that after I read here in the forum that the dishwasher is placed at the very back at the bottom, it doesn't quite work at the front because the floor (Altbau) is not perfectly level, the machine would then stand crooked and wobbly. We really tried, with an 80 cm plinth height about one centimeter is missing for the door to open.

Would the rest of the line still be extendable by this 1cm, or is everything already fully loaded? (If it even hangs on the rail, that would of course be a massive effort...)

Yes, unfortunately, everything is firmly screwed to the wall, wall finishing and wall panel etc. all done, I don’t want to touch that anymore. So it will come down to a two-part door. The decision now lies with Junior. Still, thank you for all the thoughtful considerations. Our son underestimated it or didn’t know at all because he hadn’t dealt with it so thoroughly before. We are the helpers and have already worked wonders with the countertop. But we knew that beforehand. Luckily.

I am new here and would like to order my Metod kitchen next week.

I had actually already decided on the Bosch SPV50E90EU as a dishwasher.

After reading a lot about the problems with the fronts on the internet and here in the forum, I am now completely unsure what to do.

Can someone tell me if I can properly install the dishwasher with ERSÄTTARE or Behjälplig rails? Do I have to saw the fronts myself for this or is there something ready-made from Ikea?

If necessary, can someone recommend another device? 45cm wide, max. 500,- EUR, brand device?
