Yes, you can use the normal door. At the hardware store, there are 35 mm wooden discs. You can glue them in to close the holes.

Which holes do you mean exactly, the ones that then appear between the other cabinets and the dishwasher? And do the drillings on a regular door fit for that? According to the manufacturer, a door with a max. 717mm can be installed and 60cm wide. I somehow have concerns that I order everything now and then nothing fits, the lady yesterday really confused me...

Do I actually need finishing strips for the floor by the door as well?

So: By holes we mean the holes that are pre-drilled so that the door hinges can be attached. They can only be seen from the back anyway and not at all after installation on the dishwasher. At the hardware store, there are suitable washers that can be placed in the holes to close them.

The manufacturer's specifications correspond to the Faktum door. So it should be easy to install if the drill holes (see above) are closed.

You can forget the statements from the woman yesterday because she only assumed the new Metod fronts. With Faktum, there were never any major problems with third-party devices due to the door height of 70 cm.
