hello edardi, can't you screw down the feet of the dishwasher by the appropriate cm? then the fronts should also fit (they would of course have to be mounted higher up). you can cover the space between the dishwasher and the worktop with carcass leftovers etc. (these probably always occur, because something always has to be shortened somewhere) (or shorten 10cm fronts). best regards robi

I assume it doesn't work because the dishwasher does have a Vario hinge but is not an XXL model. Now, it really only remains to tinker.

Is Ersättare still even being sold?

@ robi_aus_ffm: Thanks for the tip! I hadn't thought of that at all. I thought you had to screw the dishwasher all the way up to fix it so that it doesn't get pulled out or anything when opening the door. I could definitely cover the gap, I still have enough leftovers.

: Thank you I hope I manage somehow, it would be a shame to ruin the whole kitchen just because of the dishwasher.. I can easily order a replacement.

Dear Ikea kitchen specialists,

I had an IKEA METOD kitchen with white handleless Voxtorp fronts planned and installed.
Unfortunately, the installation of the dishwasher (Siemens SN76P030EU - 81.5 cm height with Vario hinge) could not be carried out because the 60 x 80 front, despite the Vario hinge, would prevent the dishwasher door from opening (the lower part of the front hits the dishwasher).

Dimensions:
Niche height 88.5 cm (floor - underside of countertop)
Plinth height: 8 cm

Here is what I thought:
1. According to Siemens measurements, the fronts for the SN7.. dishwashers should have a height of 655-750 mm.
This would mean that there are 5 cm too much here.
Could I simply cut off these 5 cm (or even 10 cm) from the front and fix it securely at the lower part?
I would have to sand down the longer part of the front (75 cm) a few millimeters to allow enough space for opening and have only a minimal gap.

2. Install Siemens folding hinge (special accessory for dishwashers folding hinge for tall carcass dimensions SZ73010)

3. Replace the 60 x 80 front with 4 Voxtorp drawer fronts 60 x 20 - 902.731.90 combined with ERSÄTTARE 002.506.64.

Could you maybe give me some tips? I would be very grateful for any answers since the kitchen itself is basically finished... Thank you very much

In this situation, I would lower the dishwasher and work with a panel above.

Or put the dishwasher somewhere else entirely, in the tall cabinet? I don't know the plan, but the current position is very suboptimal at first. You can't open the trash bin and dishwasher at the same time. Although even in the tall cabinet, you won't get around some tinkering.

@Alaba: Thank you for your response! I will try the aperture and lowering the GSP. I have to complain about a 20 cm pull-out cabinet because the front was screwed on too high, then the installers will implement the solution with the dishwasher.

I will definitely provide feedback on this later.

The location of the dishwasher and trash can is really very suboptimal. Due to the poor room layout (103 sqm apartment with 2.2m × 2.3m kitchen niche including ventilation shaft in the corner), it unfortunately couldn't be done differently.

Hello!

I've been struggling with the Ikea dishwasher problem for quite some time now. So I finally signed up and hope to get help from Ikea experts like you.

So: if I buy an XXL dishwasher AND use a Vario hinge, I can install the 80x60 front (Bodbyn), even though the device diagram says only max 775mm is possible for the front, did I understand that correctly?

I'm slowly getting desperate because I can't find any dishwasher that specifies 800mm except a model from Miele which costs 2000€ and I obviously can't afford that.
