Dishwasher fronts

Installs and stops, so you can open it up to a certain angle and then you just hit the lower part of the dishwasher... However, the installer has never heard of a Vario hinge before

Hmm, I don't want to offend your technician, but maybe he didn't do something quite right there? We have another Siemens XXL with a Vario hinge working perfectly fine and nothing triggers.

I’m asking myself that right now too. Did you have to install the hinge separately? As far as I understand, he hasn’t fixed the front in place yet, so it’s basically just attached, because he thinks that about 3cm need to be removed from the front.

How does it work? You basically open the dishwasher and the front automatically moves up a few centimeters, or is it only pushed up once the front hits the dishwasher?

Hello, the Vario hinge is already integrated. Maybe the front does not move upwards when opening because it is not properly attached to the bracket and slips through. Take a close look at the assembly instructions yourself. Installers often have a fear of assembly instructions. Also check on the nameplate whether the correct dishwasher was delivered. So much I can say, the installers have not yet fixed the front or only placed it on, as it was bumped during testing as mentioned, and thus I still have the chance to remove the front and shorten it. I need to take a look at it at home.

Just don't cut anything off. If it doesn't work, we'll somehow find the mistake.
