Hello, try it according to the Stefan method and if it doesn’t work, the only option left is to use ERSÄTTARE with a 60/20 front split.

Could it be that the selection of 45cm wide dishwashers with Vario hinge is very limited?

So far I have found, among others, the following models:
Neff S78T69X0EU
Siemens SR76T095EU

What slightly confuses me is that the Siemens device only shows a max. front height of 75 cm in the dimension drawing.
Are there no dishwashers at all to which I can attach an 80cm front?
Or are 75cm enough so that it looks proper from the front?

Hello, there is only the medelstor from Ikea, on which the front fits directly. Alternatively, you can take any other device, build the kitchen with a 9 cm plinth height and let the front protrude at the top of the dishwasher door, e.g., 7.5 cm (depending on the max. specified front height).

I'll join in with my question here.

After browsing the topic, I am still a bit unsure.

The Stefan method means that the dishwasher stands almost without feet and the front is firmly screwed onto the flap. Therefore, a certain part of the front would "always" protrude. (Is there actually a picture of that)

With the Vario hinge, the front only protrudes when it is open, right? (at least in some pictures)
Can you use any XXL version from different manufacturers with the Vario hinge? Are these hinges included?
Do you have a recommendation for some appliances – price / performance / installability?

Is a continuous plinth possible with both versions?

Thanks...

hello hinzundkunzbln,

Is a continuous baseboard possible with both variants?

I have a dishwasher with a vario hinge and a fully integrated washing machine installed. these are a little further forward at the bottom of the base. but this is absolutely no problem. I bought some additional Metod feet, cut off the upper plastic knobs on them, and then attached/clamped them a few centimeters further forward, under the carcasses (to the left and right of the appliances as well as the entire front) by turning them on the plastic screw thread. the baseboard is attached there. this way you have a straight front even under the carcasses at the footboard.
