Hello,
I am currently facing the problem of integrating a Siemens dishwasher into a Metod kitchen.
I think there are two solutions:
1. not install the dishwasher completely up to the countertop. This causes the front to protrude a few centimeters upwards even when closed or
2. cut the front at the hinge point of the dishwasher door and attach the bottom 10 cm like a drawer front simply screwed to the base cabinets on the left and right. Similar to the panel above the sink door.

Hello, 1. only works with a dishwasher 81.5 cm high if the kitchen plinth is raised 2. is bad with a structured front. Then it is better to use ERSÄTTARE.

Hello, I want to install a fully integrated Siemens dishwasher (e.g. SN65L084EU in standard height) into a METOD kitchen. I have read a lot in this forum and want to install it according to the "Stefan method," i.e. screw the dishwasher up to 28mm under the countertop, fill the empty space with a piece of leftover countertop (28mm), and screw the front on in one piece (80cm) firmly. This would give me an installation height for the dishwasher of 85.2cm (88.0 - 2.8) and the front would protrude by this 2.8cm – which could only be seen when opened. Can someone tell me if this will work? Do I still need to raise the kitchen plinth to 9cm? If yes, why? Has someone already done this? And are there pictures?

Hello, that won't work. The maximum front height is specified as 725 mm. Therefore, the front must protrude by 75 mm. Since the minimum height of the dishwasher itself is 815 mm, that results in a total of 890 mm with the protruding front. However, with the 8 cm plinth, the niche is only 880 mm high. Therefore, the plinth must be increased to at least 9 cm.

Thank you for the quick response! I probably had the wrong sketch and made a mistake in my thinking. Would the whole thing work with an SX dishwasher? If yes, by how much would I need to lower it to install a continuous front? What would be the cheapest and least complicated solution?

When limited to Siemens, the easiest:

the cheapest (Stefa method):

I have not checked whether a better model is offered cheaper by a dealer.
