Hello to the fan community, I have now read through the fronts topic. Unfortunately discovered too late. The kitchen is installed, only with an 80 cm plinth height, a 45 cm Bosch dishwasher (already bought by our son, the kitchen is for him) simply does not fit because the door cannot open. Now my question: who has a medelstor machine and are you satisfied with it? Or does someone have another solution besides buying a new one? We are grateful for any feedback.

A two-part front with ERSÄTTARE would still be possible.

Thank you for the quick response. We also thought about splitting it into two parts, but it would look unusual because on the left and right of the dishwasher there are panels arranged in 40, 20, 20, and the small panel at the bottom will definitely stand out. We also considered building a new front from the 9 mm niche back panel material (Nebraska oak gray-brown, double glued, new edge on top, material is still available). That definitely breaks up the look, but the narrow strip might stand out less there than now with the white fronts. And the decor is repeated. Is there an opinion on that? Could that work?

Next to it 20 - 40 - 20? Shouldn't things that are used a lot and shouldn't be placed at the very bottom go into the 40 cm units?

What does the boy think? He has to like it.

Well, the boy is abroad for work for a quarter of a year and has entrusted his oldies with completing the kitchen because the preparatory work took longer than planned. The arrangement of the cabinets, drawers, etc. - all his planning. We don't interfere with that. We implement what he has intended. Up to the dishwasher, everything was usually fine. We already skyped today and came to no conclusion. Well, it stands fifty-fifty between buying new or splitting the door. Neither is an ideal solution. But thanks.

Can't you turn down the already purchased dishwasher so much that there is air between the dishwasher and the countertop, which you cover, then the door should open if you let it close flush with the countertop at the top. This has already been described here...
