From your point of view, would it also be possible to set the Metod legs to 9 cm instead of 8 cm and thus gain the 1 cm that is missing at the end?
If the dishwasher weren't so new, I would buy a new one with a Vario hinge...!

By the way, has anyone already seen pictures of the version with 60 and 20 cm fronts in real life?

Setting the feet to 9 cm is no problem. Then it would be the 5th option if the front overhangs 7.5 cm at the top.

Hmm, the only question is whether you can see the 1 cm clearance from above ....! Well, it’s all a bit unsatisfactory!

I am currently planning a Metod kitchen as well, but I do not have any appliances yet. I have to work with a somewhat limited budget, so the dishwasher should not cost more than 500 euros.

I have been reading everything here diligently and the best options would probably be
a) Large-capacity dishwasher with air gap on top. Fill the air gap with boards or similar.
b) Dishwasher with vario hinge (e.g. Siemens SX76P030EU). However, I cannot find any dimension sketches for this. Can the dishwasher be adjusted to 880 mm in height?
c) IKEA dishwasher. But these are only 81.8 cm high. How is this solved there?

There doesn’t seem to be a good method for a regular-sized dishwasher? Either with the Stefan method and 8 cm front overhang or with the Behjälping hinge, where the Metod front will no longer be flush with the dishwasher front because the dishwasher has to be propped up?

Is really the only solution for regular-sized dishwashers? Or was this installed incorrectly?

I am a bit frustrated at the moment...

take the Siemens SX76P030EU. The price is right and it fits without problems if you use a full 80 cm front.
The dimension drawing is available on Siemens' website under Downloads.

The Stefan method works with an 8 cm overhang on the 82 cm high BSH device only if the kitchen base is raised to at least 9 cm. (With other manufacturers and older devices it might be different).

Behjälplig is no longer available. For third-party devices, IKEA no longer offers a solution. How it works with IKEA devices can be seen in the assembly instructions.
