Dishwasher fronts

Hello everyone,
today our fairly large Metod kitchen was delivered in what felt like hundreds of flat packages. Our craftsmen burst into loud laughter. We took it quite calmly at first, but now, after reading this thread, we are somewhat confused.
For one thing, we placed the dishwasher right at the beginning. We were not aware that the dishwasher does not get a cabinet. Now the top panel has to be attached directly to the dishwasher. Is that even possible? The sealing lip also adjoins the top panel. Does the dishwasher bear the weight of the countertop, or does it rest on the top panel?
We have Behjälplig and Vaglig to connect the front panels. Our current front panel is 77 cm high and the plinth is slightly cut out because the door swings inward at the bottom. Maybe someone can estimate whether the dishwasher (Siemens) might fit. We would like to take it with us.

Yes, a tall side panel must be cut to fit properly and attached to the countertop and floor. It does not have to be a side panel, alternative ideas are also possible.

We have BEHJÄLPLIG and VAGLIG to connect the front panels. Our current front panel is 77 cm high and the plinth is slightly cut out because the door swings downwards there. Maybe someone can estimate if the dishwasher (Siemens) could fit.

It should work with BEHJÄLPLIG, even without a cutout in the plinth. Possibly the appliance can also be installed without BEHJÄLPLIG using the "Stefan method".

If craftsmen install the kitchen and have no experience with BEHJÄLPLIG, you should study the installation manual carefully yourself and require the craftsmen to thoroughly review the installation instructions for BEHJÄLPLIG and the dishwasher beforehand.

Thank you very much for answering our questions. We are now trying to move the kitchen slightly to the right by swapping an 80 cm cabinet with a 60 cm cabinet. Then we could place a 20 cm cabinet to the left of the dishwasher and would have solved the problem with the free left side of the dishwasher. We are assembling the kitchen ourselves and have built the first base cabinet today. It was trouble-free and fun. I will report on the dishwasher installation. Pauline

Good evening, yes I called a dealer near me. They told me that this device will probably only be available in December. However, this was only speculation, as the dishwasher was only entered into the system on 27.10 (basically just the name, as there were no other details). I called Bosch. An A with Vario hinge is not planned according to the data in their systems, but I should call again in December. I do not know how it is with Neff.

December is almost here and many fronts at METOD are also not available. Have you checked the availability of the chosen front?

Good evening, first of all sorry for the late response. I have almost all the fronts... the last ones will probably arrive on 23.12. according to the order. I am really a bit desperate. I can get the mentioned dishwasher from Siemens for €1149. But I'm not sure if the A is worth it... What A devices with Varioschublade and hinge are there? Do any come to mind? Regards lepole
