Hello, Unfortunately, you cannot use washers because when opening, the front will hit the dishwasher at the bottom. There is really very little space there. The pinning should work. However, you should work very cleanly and precisely. Also because the installation does not allow much tolerance. Without specialized tools, I consider that very difficult.

For practical reasons, I will then take a simple front. Nevertheless, it surprises me that at Ikea there are simply no more fronts to choose from. Strange. You can now only choose suitable doors for the dishwasher under the tab Doors. Previously, there used to be separate dishwasher fronts.

Take a look at the product PDF on page 75. Basically, there are no longer any special fronts. These are normal drawer fronts that are only supplemented with additional mounting kits.

Thank you... but I will really take a single front now. We are so complicated. Is there anything else to consider regarding the dishwasher, it is an XXL and has Vario hinges, also positioned between 2 carcasses.

Hello,

I am currently setting up a new Metod kitchen.
The wall cabinets are already installed.
I would like to install my 3-year-old Siemens dishwasher SN65T090EU in the new kitchen.
Unfortunately, there is now a problem.

Option 1:
When I planned the kitchen, the sliding hinge BEHJÄLPIG was still available.
Does anyone of you know if and when it will be available again or if there are alternatives from other suppliers?

Option 2:
My dishwasher is designed for a plinth of at least 9cm .... the Ikea plinth trim, however, has a height of 8cm.
So the only option left would be to screw the dishwasher all the way down, mount the base cabinets 1cm higher, so that there is 1cm of free space above the plinth panel.
Do you think this space can already be seen from above, or do you have another idea?

Thanks and regards
Schrauber

Hello, the 90 mm is not a minimum plinth height. The device is at least 815 mm high, the front may be a maximum of 725 mm high. This results in a minimum distance of 90 mm between the floor and the front at maximum front height.

Behjälplig is no longer available and as far as I know, there will be no replacement. Last week I saw one at IKEA Frankfurt in the outlet, where it had already been for two weeks before. In any case, you should look in the outlet and ask customer service.

But what do you do if you can’t get one anymore?

1. Buy a new dishwasher.
2. Use a 60 cm 20 cm front with ERSÄTTARE.
3. Live with a smaller front.
4. Make something similar to BEHJÄLPLIG yourself.
