I assume this is done intentionally so that more kitchen buyers move away from Frankfurt towards Hanau. Unfortunately, with our new kitchen, we probably won't exceed 3,000 EUR, as we actually don't want any Ikea appliances, otherwise, we would also buy at Ikea Hanau and take the dishwasher with us. That is the only appliance we would buy there due to the front issue...

I do not understand the reservations against the E-devices at all. Refrigerator Dishwasher have been working absolutely perfectly for me for over 10 years. I simply have not needed an oven so far, as my old one still works.

Well, for example at Stiftung Warentest, Liebherr/Miele etc. tend to perform well.

My parents have all major appliances from Miele. In 35 years, they have each replaced the fridge and freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine once. The dryer and vacuum cleaner twice already.
The ceramic hob, oven, and extractor hood are 35 years old and still work.
However, they are moving this year and then there will also be a new kitchen with appliances.

When I bought electrical appliances, at that time I could not find any devices at IKEA that were comparable to those of other manufacturers solely in terms of equipment.

No reservations, but the selection is just not that great. The oven should have pyrolysis and fermentation settings, Ikea only offers that with the Kulinarisk for 799 EUR, from e.g. Neff for about 650 including shipping costs. The Ikea refrigeration units seem too expensive to me. There is also no gas cooktop that appeals to me. The range hood should be an under-cabinet model, which Ikea doesn't offer at all.

Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum and have worked through this entire thread. Still, I am not quite sure if I have understood everything correctly. We are currently planning a kitchen from IKEA for a summer house (a kind of larger insulated garden house). We want to install a dishwasher because the kitchen will be used frequently in the summer. The noise level of the dishwasher does not play a big role, and I have set my sights on the Neff model GX 31 (factory number S52L60X0EU) as it offers a great price/performance ratio.

I hope I have understood everything correctly, following consideration: Raise the plinth to 9 cm and move the front 1.5 cm upwards. Fill the gap under the worktop with a strip. or Leave the plinth at 8 cm and then move the front 2.5 cm upwards. Does that work like that? Below is the dimension drawing of the dishwasher.

Many, many thanks for your help
