I bought additional metod feet, cut off the upper plastic knobs on these, and then attached/clamped them a few centimeters further forward under the carcasses (to the left and right of the appliances as well as the entire front) by screwing into the plastic thread. the plinth is attached there. this way you have a straight front even under the carcasses at the baseboard.

Yes, that’s what it means. But... as Juliette already wrote, it can also fit perfectly. That depends on the dishwasher and the conditions on site. That’s why I only attached the feet further forward afterwards. Regards, robi

I just looked at the instructions for the bases again. The base is clicked in and that's it.

Exactly, it's also very easy. But it only fits with the black metod plastic feet. The others made of metal (Capita), which are attached with screws, are too thin.

I have a new problem with Metod and a fully integrated Siemens/Bosch dishwasher. I searched the forum for a similar issue but found nothing comparable. Maybe the experts can help.
We want to install the Metod "freely" floating, i.e., only with a small plinth. The plinth is mounted on the wall at the back, about 10cm high and 20cm deep.
Is it possible to install a dishwasher here also "freely floating"? I understand that the dishwasher has to be installed in a sort of cabinet. My question is basically whether something like this would be possible with Metod.
