That is correct. But I think we can give the BU a deadline to bring a roofer. The roof structure will be finished next Tuesday. If the BU does not bring a roofer the week after, he will receive a notice of defects because the roof structure is unprotected and rainwater continues to run into the basement through the uncovered stairwell openings.

Well, as long as everything is legally sound... If I were you, I would talk to your site manager. He seems to be keeping a cool head here.

The reference to the lawyer and what he said at some point is nice. But the lawyer is no longer working for you. So this statement does not help you.

The matter does not depend on whether the lawyer is still working for us. It is clear that I will coordinate this with the site manager. Requesting a quote is not yet an order.

Just quickly read the thread. You really wouldn't wish that on anyone.

What is the current status? Has anything come up in the last 3 weeks?

The current status is that since 22.11. no more work has taken place on the construction. The roof frame still has a tarp, but no tiles have been installed. The completion date according to the settlement was 30.11., which means the builder is in delay. He has now been given a deadline until 13.12., after which we will apply for enforcement of the settlement in court.
