Quite simply, the original poster is devastated, so why should the opposing side resolve the conflict here or present their side? What is wrong if he contacts the original poster directly? Is he ashamed, perhaps?

I’ll just say it: I call that simply cowardly!

Strange that certain people register completely new, write a first post in this forum at all and do not want their profile to be seen. Do they have something to hide? By the way, I did not complain that the construction door was removed, that was solely a message to interested members who are following this thread. Now at least we can enter the house by the normal way again.

Honestly, I don't care if the participants here are bickering. But I really don't like it when someone here tries to make me look ridiculous as a newcomer.

: Thank you for your sympathy. But I am no longer devastated. Yes, there was a time when I didn’t know what to do anymore and would have loved to give up everything. But by now I believe I can somehow manage it. According to the motto: You can still build something beautiful out of the stones that are laid in your way. And I will continue to fight against being fooled. Honest money for honest work, that’s what I stick to. But I am not the fool that others want to make a fortune from.

I still don’t quite understand. Why should one of the two parties have no interest in resolving the conflict? You seem to have more background knowledge than I/we do. Has the opposing side refused direct contact? Apparently not, otherwise he wouldn’t be commenting on this publicly. I hadn’t noticed that the name of the construction company continuing the work had already been mentioned here. He just seems to be trying to present his point of view; whether that is accurate, I cannot and do not want to judge. But to fundamentally forbid someone from speaking or to label differing accounts as "stinking" and "cowardly" without knowing the objective facts—that, I find, well, presumptuous.

well, if the contractor knows he can’t really save it anymore, a strategy would be to reject everything outright from his side..... see above and besides, the OP surely doesn’t enjoy writing something like this in a forum. Behind a monitor – so also as a pseudo – it’s easier to deflect. The aim here might possibly be that the company’s reputation is not damaged. I stand by it, it is cowardly. PS: Does my botched job seller see my text? Then feel free to get in touch and create a new account, no worries, I can prove everything :) .
