Forget the nonsense about selling. That would be a total loss of the building costs. The 130K€ are currently not gone, they are tied up in the property. Part of it is overpaid, yes, that is the damage plus maybe 10K€ to fix the botch. Waiting until the trial, possibly insolvency, and lawyer fees only pile up the loss. It can happen. Find architects and keep building. Beforehand, discuss this goal with a lawyer and establish legal certainty (prepare/enforce extraordinary termination, etc.). Claims for recourse are then a secondary issue that can be pursued further or not.

How anyone can write such trash about the situation is incomprehensible. Just this defiant "Well." That is probably the most antisocial and disgusting behavior that can be shown. For me, you are an absolutely disgusting subhuman. Keep your thoughts to yourself; if you are that negative, keep it for yourself.
Here is a person who has invested savings probably accumulated over decades into a project for the family, and the project will probably fail due to crooked dealings.
How anyone can even think of throwing cheap shots there is beyond me. What a terrible life must you have to write something like that. I cannot even express my anger at your words here. You should be locked away here irreversibly.

Some good presentations regarding the construction were made here. The most important is that progress is being made. Sure, you want revenge, but lay your cards on the table and consider whether you really want to fight on two fronts. With a lot of discipline, hard work, and unfortunately more money than planned, the house can still be completed.
Ask friends and acquaintances. Someone always knows someone who wants to earn a little extra. There are several examples here in the forum of people who built very cheaply but with high quality with their circle of acquaintances.
I wish you all the very best. Such fates somehow always touch me personally very deeply.

You have just proven that it can get significantly more disgusting. Congratulations.

: Even though I will no longer comment here because of weird guys like KlausiMausi, I want to sincerely thank you, danixf, for your opinion.

There is a significant difference. My words are not directed against someone who has suffered a miserable fate and is seeking help. But everyone simply has different perspectives. To prevent the thread from being unnecessarily commented on further, I am also out here. Once again, much strength to the OP.

I find the rapid turn of events quite interesting. When the thread started, posts about continuing construction were dismissed. The goal was to get money back. Then it somehow turned to continuing construction, and today suddenly some GF was pulled out of the hat. Not a word about this topic before. Sorry guys, but I understand KlausiMasui’s comments more as satire, which I can relate to well.
