This kicking while lying down is really unnecessary and doesn't help anyone. We came out of the insolvency of "our" company much more lightly (because it happened before construction began) and it's still dumb enough. You can't plan in enough buffer to absorb something like that.

No, you can’t! But sorry, if you build a hut for 460k with an attached apartment that probably still needs to be financed, I have no sympathy! Whoever calculates tightly and cannot cover the capital service for legal disputes should please leave it! No sympathy!

This is how it went with the window company regarding warranty claims. The company closes. The company reopens almost identically and carries on cheerfully. Warranty is worthless. In Germany, the customer is gladly the fool.

That such companies are not afraid that a client might pull the weapon... incomprehensible.

I don't see it that way. Building has become so expensive nowadays that you have to push your budget to the limit. For the worst case as described here, few resources remain. Unfortunately, all the payment plans of the general contractors are designed so that overpayment occurs. They also won't negotiate due to the fantastic order situation. The legislator should have acted a long time ago, but he does nothing. Vigilantism is a tricky matter, actually not allowed. But the state almost forces you into this last measure. Only the risk of drifting even deeper yourself is very high. So be careful.
