Regarding: Sound insulation: Drywall construction can also be done accordingly, no problem: for example, multiple layers of boards on both sides and especially dense mineral wool instead of glass wool in between.
A solid wall is not automatically good at sound insulation: the best example are non-load-bearing 11.5 cm interior walls, which are not allowed to bear any load... therefore they end a few centimeters below the ceiling, which is then somehow stuffed... or not: "the plasterer will do it" yeah right, whoever believes that: the plasterer just plastered up to the top and that's it. In the end, you do have a solid wall, but soundproofing = zero, because between the wall and the ceiling there is nothing but an acrylic joint on each side. Any drywall is better there.
