Well, then I hope for the TV report - the sequence where the aforementioned action is filmed is likely to "go viral," as they say nowadays :)

Oh man, no lottery win again. That would be something. At least then you wouldn’t have to worry about the money anymore. But at least the basement is no longer underwater. We worked hard and dried everything out enough so that it’s still wet, but there’s no standing water anymore. For that, I’m now painfully feeling my back:confused:. The rest has to be done by construction heaters and dehumidifiers, and we can only hope that nothing comes in from outside. That would be really bad.

If you write it like that, it sounds like a reputable company. If they have been supporting you for a year, you have probably paid all your invoices from them. Then you also know what to expect. I hope you get it under control, otherwise it can quickly become more expensive.

Is Mr. K the developer/general contractor? If yes, then this whole thing *stinks* to me :-) .
