I have a "stupid" question: What is meant by an annual performance factor >4.5? Does this only apply to heat pumps or also to biomass heating systems? Does anyone know exactly how high the subsidy is? It only says up to 35% but it could then also be only 10%, right?

I also have a question: The application can only be submitted after completion/installation of the heat pump? Currently, we only have the foundation slab finished. The heat pump type etc. is already decided. But I cannot itemize the installation costs etc. since the construction is with the general contractor.

Excerpt from the BAFA website

"Important to note:
The application must be submitted before project start. The project start is considered the conclusion of a delivery or service contract attributable to the execution. Planning services may be provided before the application is submitted. The decisive date is the date the application is received by BAFA."

So I think you have to apply before the heating installer is commissioned.

So I just spoke with the gentleman from the BAFA. However, he was not knowledgeable and had to ask several times: For geothermal energy: Only drillings from 30m are subsidized - no collectors or baskets. Groundwater: Wells are not subsidized. Underfloor heating: He cannot say, but it is somehow part of the heating system. That will be assessed when submitting the intended use. A leaflet will be released listing everything that is subsidized. He could not assure me whether everything I need is included. The leaflet is coming, but he did not know when. If anyone has a source where all eligible subsidies are listed, I would be grateful.
