I meant Marc more. Because then it would be too late. Unfortunately, that was the case with me due to signing the contract for work with the listed heat pump.

Or do you know any possibilities that the application can still be submitted?

So I called 06196-9081625:
- Project start is the purchase of the heat pump, not the first groundbreaking
- It is important that the system has an annual performance factor of at least 4.5 and is listed with Bafa
- For new buildings, always apply for innovation funding
- For air/water heat pumps, the basic funding is 1,300 or 1,500 (performance regulated)

Since the funding is apparently also performance-dependent, it would be quite interesting to see exactly how much the funding amounts to here.

Thanks

That is all on the BAFA website. You get EUR 4,000 for a ground-source heat pump (basic funding) with an annual performance factor of 4.5 or better and can still "grab" a few EUR-500 units if certain additional conditions are met (extra storage, deep drilling, etc.).

To increase the basic funding, you have to massively oversize the heating system for a single-family house, which certainly doesn't make sense.

At least a few months ago, there was a PDF document online that detailed this – by now, the homepage is also quite tidy and clear.

If you buy the heat pump directly from the heating installer and not from the general contractor/general planner/trade contractor in the construction contract, it is naturally a bit more relaxed in terms of timing, as the contract will probably only be concluded during the construction phase.

So we are planning a [Luft/Wasser Wärmepumpe], so no ground source or the like. Well, I find the Bafa homepage about the funding still quite unusual, it takes a while to find the important information for yourself.

Yes, with individual contract awarding the whole thing is more relaxed and you can currently see which heat pump is suitable.

I assume that we will need a fairly large heat pump in terms of capacity, it is supposed to become a 3-family house.

For an air-to-water heat pump, you also need an annual performance factor of 4.5 or higher to receive a subsidy of EUR 1500. I doubt that this is realistically achievable, but I have read somewhere that it may be possible.

You get more subsidies from 38 kW capacity in increments of EUR 40 / kW up to a maximum of 100 kW. You definitely won't get such a heating system for your 3-family house, especially not with an annual performance factor of 4.5...

Source information on the subsidy: BAFA HP

Phew, as I said, I have little idea about that. I just make sure to meet the requirements and deadlines first. Everything else will become clear. Maybe a new generation of WP will come to the market in 3-4 months.
