Uh.. a clear YES. For that money, you can have the ground floor shaded with roller shutters. That kind of thinking drives the costs up unnecessarily!

Hehe, I always stand in front of the covered front door: a) it is more interesting b) in the rain you stay drier on the north side, at least with us.

But that usually does not work. That is the nature of planning.

I would have been glad if I could have chosen from a whole potpourri of suggestions and ideas. Whether the TV in the opposite bedroom or the kitchen is actually a problem for me due to the criticism, I can reflect on myself and if necessary bring it up again.

From a certain age, it doesn't matter where the TV is hanging anyway. The whole floor is covered with sound.

Which one exactly is that now, meaning which #post number?

If you remove a 2 sqm room somewhere, it can affect the entire overall design: sightlines, missing centimeters to properly place a dining table, suddenly you can create rooms where there was no possibility before (for example, you don't go from the living room directly into the toilet. Without the toilet, no problem anymore), you have one less door and thus more wall area and probably less hallway (i.e., you gain more than just an additional 2 sqm of usable space).

Long story short: Yes, that can make a huge difference! That’s why information like "could be removed" is extremely important.

By the way, the type of staircase makes an even bigger difference. The entire floor plan stands or falls with it.

If you now say: mini WC could go and the following staircase shapes are okay for us: x, y, z,... that makes quite a bit of difference!

Yes, did you even read the post? Your kitchen door opens right in front of the stairs! It seems to me you somehow lack the imagination for this or do you want to ignore it? You don't plan something like that - it will cause injuries. You can flexibly install a roof anywhere, but you can no longer change the door in front of the stairs. And I explicitly asked you about this exact roofing. I'm gradually losing the desire to explain such basics twice. Long story short: It can be built as in #145. If the TV in the bedroom is disturbing, make the wall thicker or swap the bedroom with the bathroom. Done. I'm curious about the cost of the earthworks.

I tried it yesterday, which made the bathroom significantly narrower for me, as the guest WC was separated from the main bathroom... The WC had two functions, as in the „Schwörerhaus Helmstorf“. The T then naturally disappears.
