Yes, a guest WC with 2sqm could go, but does it really make a big difference?

If we now assume a wardrobe area or part of a room that you convert into a guest WC => more wall, door, tiles, labor time, rough installation, sanitary fixtures, mirror, toilet paper holder, electrical installation, and washbasin cabinet.

You’re looking at an estimated cost of at least €3,000 for the guest WC.

The staircase was changed in some proposals. I have to agree with Franky that the upper floor was then not so great and the parent wing (which must have a dressing room) was no longer there.
Really pay attention to the weather side. With us, the terrace is on the weather side and the front door is nicely protected. And the north always stays dry.
Take advantage of the good weather and have a look at your property to see where it comes from.

No, nobody here is an architect, but the users have been dealing with floor plans here for years. They look at and tinker with many of them and also receive corresponding feedback from users who have come up with better floor plans for themselves. Therefore, the "crowd experience" here should not be underestimated and is definitely well above someone who has never or maybe only once dealt with it.

The tone? yeah... I've read much harsher threads. You shouldn't be so sensitive either, after all, this is an internet forum. That doesn’t mean every comment is right... but... take it with a grain of salt. You can’t expect feedback rules here...

Reaction... there have been some very constructive suggestions and criticisms here. You, , hardly responded to some of the follow-up questions. That doesn’t exactly boost user motivation.

The "biggest problem," I still believe, lies in the combination of the overwhelmed room program combined with the fact that you find it hard to imagine what impact individual changes have on the floor plan.
Leaving everything as is but just a different staircase doesn’t work.
Omitting 2 sqm guest WC can ease the whole design.
If then the "creative" ones here get the impression that despite arguments (there were plenty) you stick to certain things... they quickly lose interest.

If you now say: Mini-WC could go and the stair shapes are the following okay for us: x,y,z,... that makes quite a difference!

Nevertheless, I was asked what our ideas are and "unfortunately" some then overlook these wishes or jump into the discussion somewhere without reading carefully what was requested. Certainly, with so many pages, it’s not always easy—I have to admit that myself when questions come up like "which page was that on"!

Objectively assessed, it is also true that everyone, myself included, insists on their own version and then is not open to other ideas or suggestions for improvement.

Once again, some ideas helped us here, because otherwise we wouldn’t have swapped the location of the kitchen with the living room. So I have already accepted your suggestions!

Long story short: You can build it like in #145. If the TV in the bedroom is disturbing, make the wall thicker or swap the bedroom with the bathroom. Done.
