The door doesn’t belong there. You’re right about that. The washing machine and dryer don’t have to run during the 3 hours when the living room is in use. There are still 21 hours left. Many machines can be programmed with a delay or even via an app.

regarding windows and kitchen planning, the island could be equipped with both a cooktop and a sink, but both should not be too large so that there is still enough workspace in between (so a 60 cm cooktop and simply a 60 cm sink without a drainer (which is not really needed)) this way you have light from the side and the back could be fully built up with tall cabinets or you could have a niche for appliances like coffee machines and co.

I always get chills when I read about such degenerate mental movies. And I already said, it is probably an original - which automatically means example pictures will hardly be found.

Because of the visual fitting together, that's exactly why I suggested it: just imagine an offset shed roof, the part over the terrace is the one with the lower "ridge"; over the house the roof is covered normally, over the terrace it stands as a pergola (i.e. on this side the rafters stick out naked, or partially the solar modules lie on them, which can also be used as shade suppliers). As a treat, one could continue the "pillars" between the living room windows as "battlements" of the terrace railing (I just wouldn't like a simple fence around the area up there).

Yes, there are certainly better options. Would you have any ideas if it were to stay like that?

Thank you for your work but I’m missing the storage option in the form of a room. I would never put things like vacuum cleaners etc. in the corridor. Upstairs, 14 sqm of corridor would simply be far too much!

Having a separate room for the cleaning cupboard - of which there are stylish models - would not save any space.
