I actually find this one among the least successful of all. If you open the door to the kitchen, you can no longer go up the stairs or you get the stairs right in your face when you come down - bam! That would be a real planning mistake. In addition, the hallway here is huge considering the already tight rooms.
To at least fix the planning mistakes, I would move the sleeping area and shift the stairs to the other side. The front door would need to be mirrored accordingly. The upper floor would then need to be redone, which I am less strict about. It could then be similar to #234, which I would actually prefer for the kids anyway (both facing south).
Or do you absolutely need the abbe corner for the smokers in the garden? They would now have to move to the other side in front of the door - I would find that appropriate.
Or you cancel the abbe corner and treat yourself to a bit more bedroom space.
