Nice that even I am slowly losing track with all the variants!

So here is my current compilation of three possible variants. Which one makes the most sense?

The draft shown in #145 that Katja refers to comes from our architect and should therefore be No. 2!

The staircase area would then be deducted from my perspective, so it would be just under 8 sqm hallway, as with our architect!

The question arose whether the position of the living room/kitchen is correct? That is why there was then a modified version.

This is then the counterpart (the upper floor) planned by her (the architect). The longer I look at it, the more I wonder, anyone who wants to go onto the balcony can only enter it through one of the children's rooms. Doesn't it make sense to mirror the upper floor so that when you go up the stairs from below, "everyone" has the possibility to get onto the balcony?

I am well aware that the stairs downstairs would also have to be mirrored, of course.

Here is the floor plan...

I don't see any cardinal directions here, but I think that now the children's rooms have the friendlier side. If you mirror it, everyone can get onto the balcony immediately from the hallway off the stairs, but then the bathroom and storage room have the "nice" side.

Even at the risk of being torn apart now, I personally find it better to have the children's rooms on the side away from the sun, especially in summer! It doesn't heat up as much. Yes, blinds etc...

But if I already have such a large balcony, then I don’t want to have to go through the children's rooms every time. This way, everyone could comfortably access the balcony from any room via the hallway on the upper floor.

That would also make our option 3 feasible again, since no one on the ground floor would risk running into the door (as criticized)!

So now you can stone me!

When do you want to use the balcony?
