You always start again with the same basic configuration of 5.9 to 6.3 m width for the living/dining room, together with the kitchen almost a square ... and that is usually the least favorable room shape for these spaces.

You can forget about access to the utility room, that's nonsense, as Yvonne already said. You always run through the whole living room with your clothes to get the dirty shoes to the cloakroom. Besides, the sun has to get into the kitchen.
Otherwise, I don't find the design that bad. The lack of a retreat in the living room is a pity. A direct kitchen access would also be important to me, but we'll have to do without it.
For me, the laundry would definitely be the storage room upstairs. Running past the cooking pot with the stinky clothes would not happen with me.

On the ground floor (variant 4) you could still pull the master bedroom a bit towards the terrace to possibly make the bathroom a little wider.
I'm not starting "again" with this, those are just the possible options variant 4 or 4a. If we make the ground floor (living-dining area) even bigger, it will soon be a 180 sqm villa! Our budget doesn't allow that!

The mistake is probably that you stick to the approach and don’t try a different one... or the architect.
Unfortunately, my painting talent is not even enough for an amusing result; maybe Katja can/wants to "visualize" it sometime? So far, I found the floor plan (at least in version 4a) quite nice – but in post #143, the living room seems to me like a storage room for furniture, between which one has to weave in a slalom. But the modern quasi-equation of "living" with "watching TV" is generally not my world.A shed roof wouldn't make it any better for us either!
