I may get beaten up for this, but I don't think the house on the slope with the balcony and the carport on the other side and the ground floor, basement, and first floor—depending on where you look—is bad. Personally, I would only do without the walk-in closet; the bedroom would be a bit too tight for me that way, and my wife gets to see me get dressed and I get to see her undress, which can also be quite interesting. And children or guests are one floor and a concrete ceiling lower. And the balcony has potential for a conservatory when there's money again. I also don't see anything I'd run into doors for.
