Children's room in the attic planned too small?

I also don’t understand how anyone comes up with the idea to make the parents’ bedroom bigger than the children’s rooms. The parents’ bedroom as small as possible (unless space doesn’t matter) and the children’s rooms at least 13m² if possible, better 15m².

Well, the children's room is 14 sqm after all!!!

The question is, how the area behind the 2m line should actually be used.
Drempel 160 cm ==> then I still find it OK
Drempel 50 cm ==> then the room is a joke

How high is the knee wall?

As far as I remember, it is a very steep roof, probably an old settlement house.

Why does the staircase not work like that? Because you hit your head on the wall going up?

Because the hole is too small or the staircase is too steep by today's standards. That's how they built 60 years ago.
