Metod cabinets are significantly deeper than those of traditional kitchen manufacturers, so it is somewhat surprising if the appliance does not fit far enough into the niche. Are there perhaps hoses stacked between the wall and the dishwasher?

I have already checked that, but I could quite clearly see that the dishwasher (Siemens SN65V096EU, dimensions 55 x 59.8 x 81.5 cm) is already touching the wall at the back. I will look into the "Stefan Lösung," thanks!

There is something wrong with the depth. Siemens specifies a minimum niche depth of 55 cm, with METOD it is 59 - 60 cm. Behjälplig would have to be more than 4-5 cm thick for the front to protrude. Something must be in the way.

I have exactly the same problem. I just removed the front (with Nodsta) because it keeps popping out of the hinge or the adjustment wheel cannot hold the weight.

Calling the Ikea hotline is pointless. You can't get through. They probably wouldn't help anyway and would just refer to a replacement.

Have you found a solution in the meantime?

You have a split front on the dishwasher door. Can't you, just for testing purposes, remove one part of the front somehow or replace it with something lighter so that you get 400g less and can test how the door hinge then behaves?

Recently, the Siemens technician was at my place because our dishwasher had a defect. He had to pull it out, and it turned out: there was still a plastic thing at the back of the dishwasher that is needed for transporting the hoses and should be removed afterward.
Bad luck. Since then, the dishwasher goes the necessary 2 cm deeper under the countertop, and the door fits then as well.

Since then, the grippers no longer jump off the holder.

However, the adjustment wheels made of plastic (nowadays?) seem worn out so that they can no longer support the weight of the door and simply always go down to the stop. Actually, the door would only sit perfectly if you bring the holder to the top position through the wheels.

I am still considering whether to simply have the part replaced at IKEA or just attach the holder 1 cm higher on the adjacent cabinets.

What I also read in one of the posts here in the forum: the holders really have to be absolutely opposite each other; the smallest axial misalignments then already cause the holder to jump off.

Unfortunately, I haven’t found a trick17 to effectively prevent this.
