:
Thanks for the sketches, then I had understood you correctly after all.
I claim that this already works like this:

Whereas your suggestion, which is definitely nicely out of the box, unfortunately probably won’t work due to the area requirement.

Yes, sorry, I have never heard this expression used before. I normally always understand it like this (example):
A realtor sells me the building.
You convey to me that you think I’m being stubborn.
I convey to you that I just don’t understand you.

Positioning a building in a building plot sounds to me like “putting it in the middle,” i.e., centering.

But now I’m learning that it means aligning it optimally in the building plot.

Thanks!

: I just wanted to say thanks for the concrete floor plan suggestion.

How much more expensive are these bay windows or projections, can one roughly say? Just the average price per square meter more? Or more expensive because of special structural requirements etc?

How else are you supposed to understand it if you only have 300K but want a 400K house?

The optimization consists of one click -> trash bin.

It is not. You have to be able to afford children. There is nothing disgraceful, shameful, insulting, or anything like that about it.

But maybe you should first ask your general contractor, architect, or whoever is supposed to build the house. They will surely make you a suggestion. After all, they are professionals.

But I don’t want that at all. I want the optimal floor plan for 5 people for the 300K. Precisely the optimum within the given conditions. Or do you want to say that the house as I am currently planning it already costs 400K excl. additional construction costs? I’m happy to do something new, but without concrete suggestions on what to do differently, I end up with the same result. And there have already been some, I will still work on those. If someone tells me to have fewer children, that is a personal intrusion which I do not accept. Given the historical context of such suggestions, I would generally recommend simply leaving it alone. Otherwise let’s agree to disagree and just end this subtopic. Thanks and regards Tolentino

Yes. It’s not about optimizing your exact floor plan, but about fitting all your wishes into the square meter number. That is simply not feasible. Or put differently – it will be a mess if all rooms are supposed to fulfill their purpose including being aesthetically pleasing and livable. Maybe an architect can still manage something – but usually one of the children’s rooms becomes just a storage room or the technical room is too small, etc.

And that very much depends on how many children’s rooms you plan. That’s why you have to be able to talk openly about it. Anything else is simply ridiculous.

You can also have 4 and always put 2 in one children’s room. You can do that however you want. But if each one should have a room, more money is needed, daddy.

Yes No No No Since a house also includes one or two drivable parking spaces and an entrance platform, you don't have much money for the house either (so an eccentric house shape is out of the question), and the plot isn’t big anyway, you hardly have a choice. And I actually find everything about my idea better. Moreover, it is feasible With your idea, you waste unnecessary space. On top of that, the parking maneuver still doesn’t work! Sigh*: Parking, parking, kids, bicycles, yard, sightlines, size, zoning, sightlines... Just come home in slow motion sometime. Parking is only possible with a Smart car, etc. ... and with the diagonal positioning, you also get the lovely west-facing sun into the house

You think? Are there actually any standards somewhere for turning circles for normal cars? Like, say, a Golf? And I’m not talking about the technical details from the manufacturer, but how much space you should realistically plan for. Urban planners have to know something like that — someone must have something like that tucked away somewhere? Anyone have an idea?

However, I don’t really like the angle either, honey, sorry. I’d rather set the house back even further. That would also mean quite a long reverse maneuver when backing out, right?
