We are getting a wind sensor for our blinds on the west side. Originally, I couldn't assign the cable either and would have preferred to "hide" it - but physics apparently wants the sensor to be in the wind.
a 4-core, shielded cable for the AT sensor would be completely unnecessary! If you say that it is relatively far away from the utility room, then depending on the sensor element, the line resistance should not be neglected either. Then 3- or 4-core makes sense again.
There is nothing shielded there?! That is completely ordinary doorbell wire, probably four-core because no two-core wire was available at the moment. But for those few meters, there is certainly no need to worry that the measurement won’t work because of it – if it is indeed for the outdoor temperature sensor, which is quite possible.
I can't think of anything else it could be for. Especially since it is missing according to the plan on the other wall, it seems very likely. But the master electrician will be back from vacation soon, so I'll ask him then.
Yes, that's why the plan was northeast. But I suspect that since a control center is going into the living area, they placed the sensor there and so it was the shorter route after all.
