I also like the open-plan corner construction and would try to use it as the basis for the new plans. However, the plan is not a stroke of genius. Maybe the rejection is a blessing in disguise.

There is an expert here who knows quite well about such formalities of buildability, I would consult him here, in my opinion there are legal remedies against such a rejection.

You don't even need to ping our expert without first clarifying the major contradiction "all around are bungalows, a larger bungalow is not allowed because of §34 infill, but then suddenly a two-story building is allowed." I rather believe this will result in another rejection.

I'm sorry to hear that. Still, you have to say that almost every house construction has something that you get really annoyed about and can complain about – and the fact that BUs with architect attachment are not exactly the most creative is just the way it is. Nevertheless, the architect is obliged to offer something that is ready for approval. Unfortunately, you are also a bit "rushed" here. It's okay, we are patient after all. Still, it must also be mentioned that the rush probably comes from anger. And if the anger was taken out on the architect, who is now therefore throwing in the towel: good grief! You can get it: with input there is also output! Please use GoogleMaps with several zoom levels. I see no reason to turn the page 189 degrees and plan exactly the opposite. Despite that, it won't help you. Why? Why? Then presumably the house may also be moved towards the great view? Why don't you do that? Basically, I find the rough planning okay at first glance – here and there a bit of pep and space… after all, it is a standard floor plan. .., but I would first make sure to get more sunlight INTO the house and not through the WC and utility room. "Off topic: why does everyone actually place their sofa against the view?" Here's my rushed suggestion ;) You achieve sunlight in the house by turning the house so that the large windows are on the south and north. Are there measurements? There aren't? Doesn't matter..., then you have both view and sun combined, can make two terraces, and the children's rooms are in the beautiful south. Of course, it can all be done completely differently, but it seems to me you don't want any changes either. I would have a small suggestion for a change: wardrobe cabinet on the long hallway wall. Where the small cabinet is drawn now, direct access to the kitchen, rotate the island 90 degrees to add some pep. Plan B: shorten the bungalow and add two rooms in the attic!

Dear experts,

Basically, I wished for an evaluation of the dimensions and proportions of my floor plan. Also tips and ideas for the layout...

But not legal advice.

I thank each and every one for their effort and invested time, but to be honest, I am already frustrated when I receive little to no feedback on the actual question.

We have already tried everything to realize our dream of a bungalow.

We went to a lawyer, spoke with the municipality, even connections didn’t help.

This is not about arbitrariness...

But about an agreement between the building authority and the municipality.

NO ONE can understand this logic, but it is simply the way it is.

Hence the option of the town villa...

As already described, the circumstances have become difficult by now.

I had hoped for honest, open feedback with constructive criticism.

“Something like, the dimensions and layout in the open-plan living area are good, but an orientation to the west would be important and enhance it, therefore the following suggestion, tip, idea..., the children’s room is too narrow...

Instead, I am labeled here as a housewife and have to listen to that it will go wrong again. Also, you don’t like the bungalow at all.

That’s not exactly positive.

Yes, you are not here to encourage or have tea, but if I write that we really had a difficult time in recent months, it would have been nice if you wrote constructively or, if not, didn’t write at all, because I provide too little information and the “painted” floor plan is in any case difficult to evaluate.

And please don’t rub salt in the wound...

I did! Others too?!

Can't. You're still licking your wounds.
