Yes, I suspect they want to finish the masonry on the ground floor before the cold spell, because then the next installment would be due. But I think they made a mistake there if the workmanship continues to be this sloppy. How do you assess the lintel #427?

It seems to me that this was quickly cobbled together, I have no professional knowledge but visually I can even see it is crooked and uneven

It's like everywhere there is a construction boom, there is shoddy work wherever possible, quick, quick, onto the next construction site, the brikkies are probably not trained masons either. I've experienced more than one construction boom in my life and have always avoided such times. Just read that the kitchen studios are fully booked until summer, accordingly the deliveries. I don't want to know what is being pushed onto the customers at the moment.

Well, I would keep the church in the village.
That unskilled people stack stones into walls has been more or less normal for years, I believe. I would confidently claim that it could be done better. The house will outlive the builder anyway.
He does have an expert. [Soll rüber gucken und Daumen hoch oder runter.] Whether the chipped stones are okay, he should be able to assess based on a photo.

In the shopping center we are currently discussing the double rebound. In some photos it looks as if the kimm stones are partly standing on the perimeter insulation. Structurally rather unusual. The sealing is also on the insulation, supposedly not suitable.

Now I can follow you. But tell me, I always have to hear here in the forum that for the money I pay I wouldn't deserve anything better in terms of quality and craftsmanship attitude, but honestly, what is being cobbled together by you doesn't look any better. And you certainly don't pay only 900 € per sqm, do you?
