Thank you very much for the numerous feedbacks.
The floor plan came about as follows. From the beginning, we wanted to build a classic urban villa. To get a sense of the space for this, we looked at some houses in the model house park Kaarst (Viebrockhaus). We did not like the urban villa placed there. We also did not like the other houses in their design, but we looked at all of them anyway. In this process, the V480 Edition II caught our eye. The most recently created floor plan is based on this layout. We especially liked the open living area here.
I think we got a bit carried away here and wanted to implement this at all costs without realizing that it would end in a disaster. You opened our eyes here.
So back to the roots...

House design
Who created the plan: draftswoman
- Planner from a construction company: yes
- Architect
- Do-it-yourself
What do you particularly like? Why?: open living / dining area, we like the children’s rooms.
What do you not like? Why? We don’t like the kitchen yet. The bathroom does not seem fitting to us yet.
Price estimate according to architect/planner:
Personal price limit for the house, incl. equipment:
Preferred heating technology:
If you have to do without, which details/extensions
- can you do without:
- cannot do without: large children’s rooms
Why did the design turn out as it is now? e.g.
Standard design from the planner? Free planning
Corresponding/which wishes were implemented by the architect? We would like to have a freestanding refrigerator. This was taken into account in the floor plan but in our opinion is not quite fitting yet.
A mix of many examples from various magazines...
What makes it particularly good or bad in your eyes?
We have completely discarded the last floor plan and refocused on the original planning. The following design has emerged from this.
