Perhaps the installation instructions from the tile supplier will help you. It could be that the standard structural analysis of the manufacturer is disturbed.

Should it really be 40%? Then they are clearly undershot in the photos.

Can you judge it that easily?

At least I would want to know what kind of stone it is.

So, I have now rummaged through Wienerberger Poroton (terribly confusing website). It concerns the Wienerberger Poroton T10 Dryfix 36.5. Apparently, there are no specific processing instructions for this brick, but a general processing manual. There it states for the bricks Ü >= 0.4 h. So 40% of the height of the brick, that is 10 cm. I will measure that again, I could imagine that the perspective causes it. If it is not adhered to too often, the building expert will be contacted.

So, I was just at the property, unfortunately is right. There are various spots where the 10 cm spacing is not maintained. Once almost no overlap at all :(
In other places, as at dimension 4.5 cm, which made me look it up again, since I thought I had read this number somewhere as well.
The processing instructions state that for small formats <=4.5 cm are decisive.
Does the first row possibly count as small format? At the neighbor's, I could see that the later rows consistently maintain the 10 cm spacing. So maybe it only has to do with the first row? Because the stones are narrower?

Of course I will also ask/inform the building expert right away

Best regards

Tolentino
