So, yesterday was the first appointment with the building surveyor (an independent one who also inspected my condominium 5.5 years ago and the only one who still had availability for me - fortunately). He didn't really find anything to criticize, but the report is still forthcoming. However, he didn’t really praise the workmanship either. A bit of reinforcement steel is still missing on one side (was forgotten), but the shell builders who were still working there had already mentioned that themselves. Interesting (to me) is that the formwork for the slab is done together with the insulation. I had always seen that they first board with wood and then apply the perimeter insulation afterwards. The men also said that my general contractor always has an additional 5cm of insulation applied afterwards. Is that unusual? All house penetrations are in the right places, coverage should be sufficient everywhere. There are a few pipes that are still too short; they will be extended. One of their angle grinder discs broke, and they had no replacement yesterday yet.
