As long as the complete idiot wages war and there are no alternatives, yes, gladly. Unfortunately, it will not end; he will get enough support from China, they also have the technology and the components, it's only a matter of time.

but that does not answer the question whether you want to live there.

the war has little to do with that. It has been going on for six months. The construction of a nuclear power plant, on the other hand, takes 5 to 10 years.

If Nordstream 2 were running at full capacity,
then yes.

About twice the amount would be possible (including transport losses). However, since we know from the past that the quantities promised by the supplier on paper are not worth that paper (because there is always something), most likely only 20-40% of the possible gas quantities would flow through the additional twin pipelines.

And with 30% delivery volume via Nordstream 2, we would have parity with the current LNG imports from the USA.

In other words, for better understanding, Nordstream 1 currently delivers 20% less gas to Europe than the USA with LNG.

The nonsense about calm conditions has been explained to you dozens of times by now, you just don’t want to or can’t understand it. So let's leave it at that. IF the CDU had pursued 100% green energy policy, we would be in a better position now. But they haven’t. The expansion of the Renewable Energy Act has repeatedly been artificially delayed by tendering procedures, target corridors, etc. All for the balanced budget, which doesn’t help us anyway because Southern Europe would get into trouble earlier than we would in any case.

The question, as well as my answer, can only be hypothetical, but I answer yes, provided that traffic volume is not increased or there are no other constant noise disturbances. I am of the opinion that if an accident happens in a nuclear power plant or final repository, I would rather be close and immediately dead than almost close, then suffering a slow, painful death.
I prefer living next to a nuclear power plant over living next to a wind turbine or an airport. I trust our scientists; I trust politicians and the media less. ;-)

Besides final or interim storage, I have no problem; I could still live with nuclear power plants in Germany.
