Okay. Here we are again with the complicated topic. I would expect all of that from the solar installer. Honestly, after our build, I don't feel like dealing intensively with the next matter.

I also thought you wanted to roughly calculate it once.

So let's stick to my current plan: In 4 to 5 years we need a new car. Then I'll calculate again, maybe it will be worthwhile then in connection with an electric car. Maybe there will also be modules and other parts again by then.

Hi Silke, no, really not complicated ;-) You just send roof areas, preferably with a photo and approximate dimensions, approximate orientation and approximate roof pitch (30, 45°?) The rest is on me (us) But also clear, if you don’t just have 20K lying around (I don’t either right now!) you have to finance. You have to want that, even if you can see it as an investment in a stock with a state-guaranteed dividend (e.g. Telekom, 4%). If after 20 years there’s a profit, you’re happy. Especially if the monthly rate is lower than the monthly return. If you’re ready, I am ;-). Otherwise, of course, you can live a full happy life without photovoltaic! I did for 53 years ;)

That sounds easier already;). Thanks for your offer. Let's wait until next year, when the situation has normalized again and we are both still here, I'll get back to it;).

Let's do that in a separate thread.

Just a quick note : It really works and you can calculate it very, very well in advance. I have access (unfortunately not all are owned by me...) to 7 photovoltaic systems. The oldest is 19 years old, the youngest is 11 months old. All of them, even those not facing south, have met their forecasts so far and have been more than economical.

Gas is obviously still far too cheap.
