you are blocked if you only always see the profits of others. YOUR PROFIT is the 6,x cents. Everything else doesn’t matter (at first). By the way, you don’t “provide” it. You sell it! Sell... ever heard of it? Not the same as giving away! State-guaranteed price. Fine thing that is. Wake up. I would really appreciate it if you understood this matter. We can explain this quite objectively here without polemics, gladly also with numbers/examples. P.S. If you think an energy company can simply earn that much money so easily, go ahead. We are a free country. So, guaranteed no more bad jokes in your direction, no polemics etc. purely objective from now on if you want. Really.

Well, the 1000 kWh only under favorable conditions that not everyone has. Otherwise maybe 800. You have to add VAT, you have to pay that. And currently 1600 euros are not enough, calculate with 2000 up to even 2500. And then you have to finance the system, so you pay interest. Now calculate again.

No VAT, you get that back. I have the impression you have heard or read a lot but have not fully understood the (admittedly) complex field. (P.S. I have not understood everything 100% either) Please, just set up a scenario for yourself, your house, and a fictional photovoltaic system. We will gladly calculate it as honestly and transparently as possible for you.

Profit is, as far as I know, revenue minus expenses. Take a 10 kWp system, for example. Currently costs maybe 20,000 euros. Financed over 20 years, maybe 1200 to 1500 euros per year. Maintenance and so on come on top of that.
Feed-in tariff for 8000 kWh about 420 euros. Where is the profit there? 7

The former may be true. After the first offer, I considered it uneconomical for me. But I only did a rough calculation.

But even this complexity scares many people off. Why can't the whole tax stuff just be left out for private individuals?

What data do you need?

You are right, the politicians (those we elect) really should have made it simpler. I totally agree with you! When planning photovoltaics, a few key data points are needed first, because the larger the system can be, the cheaper the installed kWp on the roof becomes. Since one-time costs (planning, scaffolding, connection to the electrical system, etc.) only occur "once." So information about all roofs (roof pitch, size, orientation, obstructions like chimneys, trees that could cast shadows, satellite dish, ventilation pipes, etc.). Also gladly pictures of all roof surfaces with drawn-in measurements, including outbuildings (garage, carport). Then the location (postal code) to roughly calculate the system with PVGIS. Then a trial version (30 days) of Photovoltaik*SOL for 30 days to find out about strings (cabling), suitable inverter, etc. Once the fictitious system has been put together, unfortunately, it goes into the real world to get offers. Which currently is anything but fun. With modules and inverters, unfortunately, you probably have to improvise a bit, but I hope better times will come again? Let’s do it until then, then we’ll see further... We would be happy about some support from people who are even deeper into the topic ;) Best regards Burkhard
