Here posted again so that everyone understands. I kindly ask to stay on topic and refrain from making these insinuations about accounts. We are in a forum here, not at the Stasi.
The situation is as follows.
It must be assumed that all contracts will be terminated according to §313 of the Building Code. Presumably by October 1, 2022. The amendment of the Energy Security Act expressly allows this.
Most gas customers are currently still paying 5-8 cents per kWh of gas. The first wave of price adjustments took place last week. Valid from September 1, 2022.
As can be read, new gas prices will be charged between 25 and 28 cents. Also, for example, at Check 24, the price range for new contracts is there, if any are still offered at all.
Anyone who still receives gas at favorable prices should prepare for a 500 percent gas price increase from the beginning of October.
From October 1, an additional gas surcharge of between 1.5 and 5 cents plus VAT will be added on top of the new gas price.
So, in the extreme case, the gas price could then be somewhere around 32 cents per kWh.
And since it’s just so convenient, from January 1, 2023, the levied CO² charge will also be added on top. I don’t know how much that will add for gas.
And since we operate more than 600 gas power plants in Germany, the electricity price is likely to rise shortly as well.
But as Mr. Habeck said, more than 50 percent of the population will not earn enough to pay their bills anymore.
In this sense, good luck.
