Hello i_b_n_a_n

you see, that is the language of you Greens. Fecal, basically. And then: I am neither "multiple" represented here in the forum nor do I own several "alias names". OK, we can assume that the ascent of the Greens has just reached its zenith and according to the laws of nature, the descent in the same resonance follows. Of course with a destroyed Germany. The neighboring countries can shake their heads as fast as they want about Germany’s self-destruction, how they marvel.

Steven

P.S. I joined this forum to get advice regarding building. And was surprised when the Greens took over the place.

If we had enough nuclear power plants running, we could even supply our neighbors with CO2-free electricity now and would not need the fossil backup of the "renewables".

That is quite certain and it's a good thing. But next time there will probably be endless protesters or non-voters again, so that the gang could come to power again with tricks as they did this time.

Well, of course not that. Should I pull out the map showing which countries in the world have declared a gas emergency?

Widespread misconception. German Angst at its best.

Well then. Shoemaker, stick to your last.

Hello Mycraft

would be interesting.
I only know of Germany with a realized "gas emergency".
Now of course the reason must be asked:
Germany’s Green course shut down all base-load capable power plants and wants to pave our republic with base-load incapable wind turbines. Some of the Greens also know that this does not work. So, since nuclear power is base-load capable and CO² neutral, but extremely yucky for the Greens, coal comes right after that, some reliable, quickly scalable energy supplier has to come. At the moment, there is only gas itself. And voila: the circle closes.

Steven

P.S. forgive me the somewhat unscientific wording. I have already emphasized that my area is internal and external security. As a major with many foreign deployments, I cannot represent the jack of all trades.

hmhm. Pretty difficult without cooling water. Just google the water levels.

You can also look up nuclear power plants like e.g. Grohnde in the online encyclopedia. There, the longer, sometimes several months-long downtimes that occurred during malfunctions are listed. And the costs incurred due to repairs. Safe, reliable, and cost-effective is something else.
