well, yesterday I had to listen to lectures about aliens, entities, chlorine dioxide, and hexagonal water. I think is a true believer like my roommate.

P.S. but the Catholic Church was responsible for the children - or am I mistaken? (sorry, I couldn't resist that one)

That’s why I said, available in the short term. If there should be no more gas deliveries, the power for these plants will also be missing.

If the latter were true. At the moment, things are moving heavily in the opposite direction. Do you actually know how many people are currently afraid? Afraid of not being able to buy enough food anymore and above all of not being able to heat their homes anymore.

Yes, but exactly in the opposite direction. In Asia and Africa, everyone who can somehow afford it wants to have a car. Even if it’s the last clunker. There are cars driving around there that wouldn’t pass an emissions test here anymore. Everyone wants to take part in prosperity, an infinite amount of plastic packaging is consumed, shops are cooled down to refrigerator temperature with the doors open, and so on. Just a small example, but a telling one: We ban plastic drinking straws here. In Thailand, every resident consumes as much plastic packaging per day as I couldn't use drinking straws in a whole year.

The "relief package" came at the perfect time. Other countries acted immediately, our government at least by June with the start of summer. Many are happy that driving is cheaper again, with 9€ across the country, etc. The majority has been pacified, and from autumn/winter when it gets uncomfortable, no one knew or could have guessed it would turn out this way...
