I'm curious if you can still sugarcoat "the best possible life" in poorly heated four walls and maybe even with power outages as an extra. Seriously, how can one have such an idealistic, almost naive idea about a certain political party. Especially the Greens, who have a distinctly know-it-all, rather authoritarian political style and are hardly open to criticism.

But the "extraterrestrial life form" has already landed in Germany and is trying to shut down operational nuclear power plants. It has even been very successful in recent years......;)

Again: The CDU-led governments have implemented 100% green policies especially in the energy sector since 2011. The Greens are now just facing the shortcomings of their ideology and ultimately the physical fact that 100 wind turbines produce exactly the same amount of energy as 1000 wind turbines during calm wind, namely 0.0 kWh.

The "renewable" energy missing during calm winds (or under dense cloud cover and at night) then has to be supplied from gas or coal if you do not want CO2-free nuclear energy but at the same time do not want to return to the "powerless" Middle Ages.

Moral sermons are given because of CO2 emissions, while at the same time coal power plants are ramped up and CO2-free power plants are being dismantled. I do not even want to talk about the geopolitical dependencies that one has "stupidly" entered into and the potential supply and economic crises that are recklessly risked. Sorry, but "moral" is somehow something different.....

Would you like to live near a nuclear power plant? Or next to a final repository?

My grandparents live and lived in Gorleben. My grandpa passed away 2 years ago at the age of 98 (and not from cancer or anything else) and my grandma is 96 and still runs around the garden.
Ok, Gorleben is not officially a final repository but only officially ;)
So it’s probably not that bad after all

But it's quite simple: Of course you can store nuclear waste in such a way that nothing happens immediately. If nothing ever happens, then it has even been stored safely. So it's possible, but you only know afterwards.
