Yes, today we are significantly further ahead in terms of "clean energy" than we were 20 years ago. Furthermore, we currently have no problems with electricity but with gas. Nuclear power plants, however, supply the former and only help us in the current situation to a limited extent or not at all since they cannot supply or produce gas. Nevertheless, I am also pro nuclear power and am the one with the "nuclear power yes please" sticker.

Currently no problem with electricity, but it will look different in winter if the nuclear power plants are indeed shut down on December 31st.

Too short and too simple. Please try again.

I do not know this series and I referred to his opinion regarding gas supply.

I also share his opinion. In principle, he also says that you should not be 50% dependent on one supplier.

We are now much further than 30 years ago and the combination of nuclear power plants and renewable energies would be the perfect mix. No CO2 emissions and the nuclear power plants compensate for the fluctuations. You don’t need 50 like in France for that. China, for example, already has a thorium power plant in operation.

I am for banning electric car charging in winter, so at least we can turn on more heating elements :p:p:p

Horst is good at selling whisky, but that’s about it. Politically, he is certainly not centered (which is his right), but he should not be named as a neutral source. Additionally, he has no education or similar in the political field that would qualify him as a serious source; he was something like a physicist/engineer. It’s just a lot of opinion.
