Answer my question.
To answer yours: Run-of-river power plants alone cannot meet the demand. Neither can any other single generation type. That is why we need an interconnected grid and a sensible energy mix.

Photovoltaic systems drop to 0.0 kWh every night.;) And then there is also something like wind stillness. And yes, wind stillness can also happen during one night.:);) Or in winter during a multi-week "dark doldrums." Therefore, it should be clear to everyone that photovoltaic and wind power cannot be base-load capable, at least not in the foreseeable future. Biogas plants can of course run continuously and always produce electricity, but are all the corn monocultures really that sensible? Maybe a mix of biogas, hydroelectric power, and nuclear energy would be a sensible solution....

Zero CO2, what nonsense slogan! Are you actually aware that you yourself constantly exhale CO2? How can you then come up with "zero CO2"? :)
You can calculate the total CO2 emissions of humanity in one year. Basic knowledge in biology and proportions is enough for that.....

Accounting is not really your thing, is it?

Arguments please, no cheeky accusations :)
And otherwise, the costs of gas power generation should be borne by the people who have claimed and are still claiming subsidies for photovoltaics and wind turbines. That would be an important step towards a more social republic

Consumer advice centers are currently suing Tesla, among others, because of the CO2 figures, which are stated as zero. Tesla sells CO2 certificates that allow other companies to emit more. Is this the kind of accounting you mean?
