That absolutely does not match what we have planned now. Better to start over again.

Yes, "start all over" was best, but it was not consistently implemented in the design shown in #265. The basis there is your original sketch, just not cleanly translated, but rather a previous draft cut into this direction.

What I did in #248/274 was a completely different approach, and was not intended to become a new final design: in #248 I showed as an example, using the 213 sqm variant, how it could have been cleared of structural bungling, functional and visually appealing – and made the claim that the upper floor is also possible "on the foundations of the ground floor." I outlined a proof for that in #274. That was only for demonstration purposes so far. If you want the kitchen on the right instead of the left, that does not make it any wider. And consequently, the house neither. Meaning: kitchen left or right, the house also works with a functioning staircase. Therefore, no one has to run from the staircase into a wall.

Our house will face southwest toward the street with the kitchen, children's rooms, and children's bathroom.

The master bedroom, living, and work areas will face northeast toward the back.

Would it be a reasonable idea to use [Raffstores] for the rooms facing the front instead of traditional roller shutters, and roller shutters for the rooms facing the back? I think it's enough to darken at the back when you want to sleep or just close up completely. For the front, I could imagine the afternoon/evening sun really blasting into the rooms... and you don't want to make it completely dark there...

What do you think?

If you are already asking questions about venetian blinds etc., then for variant 265 or in general, I can only recommend doing a realistic kitchen planning. The sketched variant does not seem particularly sensible to me, long distances to the fridge, etc.

By the way, in I also see a cloakroom problem ... 18 sqm hallway for stairs and a 100 cm closet. There should be a basement - right? Basement access then from the kitchen? Or is the basement canceled? Then you could still use the space under the stairs.

I would find it great if it were possible to pin the current floor plan draft in the first post ... After 57 pages of thread, I definitely have no overview :-(.

Hihi, no, the basement access is under the other staircase. Because the basement stairs are much shorter than the other one. The topic has already been smiled at and we are eagerly awaiting the implementation.
