Brick slips are only usable as decoration, i.e. for application also alternating with plaster as a surface layer. A wall shell is not possible with brick slips, but you mentioned bricks as a technically effective wall shell. Oh, that was perfectly hidden in the first three dozen pages of this thread – apart from the leopard print decorative surfaces, the dream house Enterprise was always bright white like in toothpaste commercials. And at the sight of these facades, anyone would have bet their bottom that there would be no lavender-colored wall in this house.

But I kept writing that one should not be bothered by the exterior views etc., as that is all detailed planning. We are still dealing with the floor plan issue. It is clear that the visualization of exterior facades etc. will only be done in detail at the end.

They have already shown a partial brick cladding on some motifs but always without any coordination on how we imagine it, etc. – so it simply has not been discussed yet, as the floor plan has always been the main focus here.

I have to say I like the partial brick cladding by far better, the other one somehow looks so sterile. But it's just a personal opinion.

That may be, but the floor plan design was always confined to the corset of laying out the overall design in a hardcore "Bauhaus" style. The fact alone that you go down the stairs around a blunt wall panel into the living room is not exactly hipped roof style. The prevailing impression was snow-white (pseudo) Bauhaus, and the two poles of its earth axis were the six point twenty meter viewing distance and the bulky garage canopy. Only in the facade recess of the terrace in front of the dining area did you prefer a shabby look over plasticity.

We all apparently look at such a house plan from totally different perspectives. 11ant from the professional perspective and we from the "I'm baking myself a cake" perspective.

We have never thought about "Bauhaus style" or anything like that but simply showed patterns, we like this and that......

Well, but the price for the house was stated as something around 800000, so I find this Bauhaus style more than fitting. If suddenly a hip roof and a brick facade like a townhouse come out, I find that somehow disappointing for the price.
