The tendency would be to leave it as is, although we only do it if it is really very well secured against burglary, and if that costs €3,000 plus X, then that would be too much for us.

I would install the lintel and close the door opening with aerated concrete; it is cleaner to chisel out if you want to retrofit the door.

That can be inside the door leaf; it doesn't have to be applied thickly. But of course, more discreet also means more expensive.

Derived from this, what would be your advice for the 1-2 cellar windows?

Be aware that security will always have gaps. Bunkers are not really cozy. Mushroom head locks should be standard in such places. And maybe you could also treat yourself to aluminum here.

The building application is currently being prepared, even though the smallest changes are still coming in.

The two floor-to-ceiling windows to the left of the front door will ultimately be removed and made as narrow as the new, not yet shown fixed kitchen window here (maybe only in the bathroom).

The wardrobe will be opened in terms of the floor plan and executed from the hallway without a door.

The transom window above the hallway --> living room door will be omitted, as well as the sliding door living room --> kitchen (my wife wanted both to be uniform).

The frosted glass doors in the utility room and the children's bathroom will be omitted; instead, about 2 Velux daylight spots will be installed at the top.

The dressing room will be made a bit wider.....

In the basement, the home theater and guest room will each have a small window. Without a light well.

The issue of the intermediate door garage / house is not yet decided. I am increasingly coming to the conclusion that we do not need it.... and if so, then it must be a bombproof solution with regard to burglary protection. It would also have to have a residential appearance from the inside due to the open wardrobe floor plan. All of this will still be determined in terms of cost. I see it as 50/50 whether the door will be installed or not.
