For 800 T EU you normally get 2 houses. It's crazy that you don't even get 1 paid for with that. This thing would be way too hot for me. If this big budget is already exceeded from the planning stage, what will be left in the end when it's finished? So we exceeded our budget by 10%. Was no big deal because there was a reserve. Do you also have a 10% reserve?

No, I thought I made that clear. So now cuts are being made.

At the moment, the brick garage is being discussed regarding alternative options. But I think we will manage it. If necessary, as mentioned, the kitchen corner with the corner window, which is not a must-have, will disappear again.

We are not looking for 100,000 euros. But 50,000 € room would be nice.

Although expensive floor coverings, etc., are already planned in our budget. The big unknowns for me are rather the painter and the electrician.

I didn’t expect that either; otherwise, I would have stopped somewhere before. But we will manage it. I will ask a building consultant later what he thinks about the whole thing. He can take a look at all the documents.

Do I understand correctly that on the upper floor one of the children, if they want to use the toilet at night, has to enter the anteroom of the bedroom? Or is there a sliding door between the bedroom and the dressing room?

You are mistaken. The children go directly into the hallway and through the same one into their children's bathroom.

Because the house is so big, unexpected costs will usually be BIG as well. Simply because you have to cover the area every time. Better tiles - bam, more sockets - bam, more light - bam. Every time you need more than the standard. Have you ever thought about curtains, lamps, furniture, carpets, or something like that? Sorry, please don't be offended, but I always get the feeling that you don't really have an overview of the matter because you don't seriously deal with it yourself. You delegate everything. Basically not bad to consult experts, but it's hard to get a feel for the project that way. Have you ever thought about how many sockets you will need? If not, why not? What are you waiting for?
