The opening radius is already marked at the windows and you still don’t see that it won’t work? The hallway looks huge in proportion but I still can’t fit a closet / dressing room in there.

How big is the WC? How are you supposed to get onto the toilet as it is drawn, or close the door when you’re on it? You can also fit 4 cars in the garage, which is almost twice as big as the house.

You want to go from the gap into the Technikerin? To get from the living room into the gap or the dining area. Past the stairs through the hallway?

The door in the utility room won’t work because a door also needs / should have a frame.

You should find someone who knows how to do this.

Where is the rest of the house?

Sorry. I wouldn’t even want to rent there.

Oh, and the toilet will be even smaller, at least if you don’t just want to go into a hole underneath, but rather a proper drain pipe.

Where is the rest of your own creativity???

Sorry, you want the Point 183, just with a different entrance situation. Understandable given the location of the plot (although we don’t know it, you can guess).

And now you change the most fundamental thing in a house, namely the staircase: you make 15 steps into 13 and shorten them (from a 2/4-turn staircase to a short 1-quarter-turn that does not promise any walking comfort. Sure, it only bothers in an imperfect design... And we’re supposed to imagine the upstairs.

Of course, we can now nicely visit Danwood and take in the floor plans, since Danwood’s are very nice. But honestly: before I waste good brainpower here to straighten a helpless person’s rough edges, I expect a bit more own initiative.
Unfortunately, I hardly see that you have thought about your floor plan yourself.

Maybe you would be better off with graph paper, a set square, and pencil, with which you can recognize problems faster and quickly erase (or crumple up). The program is causing you too much trouble, so you can't focus on the design.
Did you perhaps overlook my tip about the staircase?

Hello,

I just took a look at the original floor plan. It’s probably not that easy to convert. The simplest option: rotate and mirror it, then carve the office out of the living room. But then you always have to go through the kitchen to get to the living room.

Given your requirements for the rooms on the ground floor and your (estimated) starting situation on the plot, I would go back to "start", completely detach myself from the floor plan, and simply start searching again. (Or talk to someone who knows about these things).

What has worked well for us: go to possible providers, present our wishes including the plot, and listen to the provider’s suggestions (mostly slightly modified, already built floor plans). This is usually a very good starting point.

And: always look at the big picture (house on the plot, interplay between ground floor and upper floor...)

Best regards

Michael

Hello,

First of all, thank you for the response,

Basically, we are also turning to the forum to be able to incorporate ideas from you.

Regarding the stairs, we were thinking less about the steps and more about the placement of the stairs. But the suggestion to add more steps is already an interesting point. Furthermore, the question remains whether we should use a different type of stairs or placement.

We have not included the upper floor for now. However, I have attached the floor plans.

Believe me, we are thinking about it, but somehow we are running out of ideas on how to design it further.

It is more about being grateful to you for tips. Unfortunately, we are running out of ideas.

But we thank you for the numerous responses.
